Driver: Job Purpose
The Driver will provide effective transport facilitation to AML staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and vehicle maintenance to support organizational operations. The role requires a professional who can uphold the company’s values and demonstrate exemplary communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate transportation for AML staff using assigned vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure vehicles are in good condition before use.
- Conduct periodic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Drive responsibly, ensuring the safety of staff, vehicles, and other road users.
- Prepare and submit weekly vehicle reports to the HR & Admin Officer.
- Notify the HR & Admin Officer about upcoming vehicle insurance and road license expirations at least one month in advance.
- Maintain accurate mileage registers, fuel records, and logbooks.
- Deliver cheques and other documents as required.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Secondary School Education.
- Clean and valid driving license (Class C) and a Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
- Proficient in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
- Grade Test and Road Safety Certification (added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics is essential.
JOB LOCATION
- The position will be based at AML Finance Headquarters in Mwenge Dar es Salaam.
